Breast cancer-screening unit heading for Delmas

The unit offer female residents from Delmas and surroundings out-of-hospital mammography and sonar services via its state-of-the-art Mobile Mammogram Unit.

The mobile breast cancer-screening unit is the only one of its kind in South Africa, aiming to make mammographic screening accessible to all women.

The unit will visit Delmas for the very first time from Monday, May 23 until Friday, May 27.

The mobile unit will be stationed at the Willowbrooke Square in Samuel Road, Delmas.

The unit offers women from Delmas and surroundings out-of-hospital mammography and sonar services via its state-of-the-art mobile mammogram unit.

Both mammography and ultrasound studies will be available as part of a continuous fight against breast cancer.

An appointment will last about 30 minutes and will be performed by all female staff.
