Delmas Spar client strikes it lucky
“I have never won anything. This is special and I wish to express my gratitude towards Delmas Spar.”
The lucky winner of one of the 50 cars in the Spar Rewards Car Giveaway competition is a woman from Delmas.
Moshidi Thage from Botleng in Delmas bought a participating product, swiped her rewards card at the local Spar branch in Sarel Cilliers Street in Delmas and was drawn as a lucky winner.
According to the owner of Delmas Spar, Peter Paraskeva, the Spar Rewards Car Giveaway competition opened on Tuesday, 19 April and ends on Sunday June 5.
“It was a privilege for Delmas Spar to be able to have one of the winners. Anyone can win. It is a national competition and the winners are drawn and audited by an independent party. Anyone from any branch can win, it is al about rewards,” said Paraskeva.
For Thage, Friday May 27, was a day of pure joy and excitement.
“I have never ever won anything. This is special and I wish to express my gratitude towards Delmas Spar,” an overwhelmed Thage told Streeknuus.
Under the load applause of the local community, Paraskeva handed the key of the brand new Hyundai Grand i10 to Thage.
The Delmas regional operational manager, Theresa Jonker also attended the handover ceremony.
One very happy Delmas Spar client drove off with her brand new red Hyundai, fully licensed and registered in her name.
