Colour and fun at Funtazia carnival
In the end, the learners had to vote for the best team and the Pathfinders walked away as the overall winners.
As part of a teambuilding event, Eldamah Academy in Delmas hosted a carnival at the school.
This event was held on Friday, May 27.
To surprise the learners, the staff arrived at school dressed up in teams with different costumes.
Each team had a name and an item to show who they represented.
With cheerful song and dance, the teams entertained the learners during a mini concert performed outside.
In the end, the learners had to vote for the best team and the Pathfinders walked away as the overall winners.
The performances of the staff were followed by a colour run.
“The learners and staff had loads of fun,” said Wilna Joubert, principal of Eldamah Academy.
Parents were also able to join in afterwards and enjoy the food market and ‘boeresport’ events.
“Eldamah Academy and all our staff thank our parents for their contributions to make this such a successful event,” said Joubert.
