Shooters showed off their skills and competed in the Teks shooting competition on Saturday, June 11 at the shooting range outside of Trichardt.
Ronald Gower was the overall winner of the day with 776 points.
Hilfred Siebrits finished second overall with 754 points while Flip du Plessis finished third with 739 points, JC Potgieter fourth with 685 points and Dirk Becker fifth with 67 points.
Du Plessis was also the best shooter in the open category and scored 825 points.
Gower was the best shooter in the pistol-caliber carbines (PCC) category with 825 points while Becker finished second with 710 points, Irving Stevenson third with 652 points, Duncan Elvey fourth with 580 points and Jannie Adams fifth with 448 points.
Gideon Botha was the best shooter in the production category scoring 750 points while Arno Theron finished second with 743 points, Abrie Preller third with 727 points, Vincent Mortlock fourth with 703 points and Wilhelm Heyl fifth with 680 points.
In the production potic category, Siebrits was the best shooter and won this category with 825 points while Hendrik Engelbrecht finished second with 684 points, Jean Engelbrecht third with 684 points as well, Hein Venter fourth with 642 points and Martin van Zyl fifth with 498 points.
Potgieter was the winner in the standard category and won with 773 points while Justin Peacock finished second with 741 points, Kyle van Deventer third with 604 points, Dian Engelbrecht fourth with 559 points and Tobie du Preez fifth with 538 points.
