47 athletes run in misty conditions at parkrun in Standerton

A total of 47 participants lined up at the Standerton River Park on Saturday, June 11 at 8:00.

Run director Charl van Wyk, emphasised the need for volunteers to make themselves available.

Siyabonga Kamhelo completed the parkrun in a time of 22:18, followed by Mbuso Mazibuko in 24:16.

Theo Schönfeldt finished in 27:17, Johann Vosloo in 30:13 and Parth Jayram in 30:37.

Jennifer Naidoo reached a milestone when volunteering as tail-walker for her 100th event.

Elmien Vermaak, Frans Vermaak, Ishara Pillay, Johannes Vosloo, Kay Pillay, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Preyanka Dorasamy, Ronnie Moodley, Ruwan Vermaak, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Sylvy Moodley and Vanita Moodley also facilitated a smooth event.
