It was a nail-biting match for Evander High School’s U/16 hockey boys who played against Hoërskool Ermelo on Wednesday, June 8.
The U/16 boys were falling behind in the first round but made a phenomenal comeback in the last moments of the game in the second round when scoring three goals one after the other.
They beat Ermelo 4–3 and away as the victors.
The first-team boys also played Hoërskool Ermelo on the same day and beat them 2-1.
EHS congratulates both the U/16s and the first team for making the playoffs that take place on June 17 and 18.
The first team will be playing at Hoërskool Middelburg while the U/16 boys will be playing at Hoërskool Secunda.
