Bronkhorstspruit boasts with new prayer forum
The team then established a Divine Intervention Forum with its main purpose of addressing social ills within the community of Bronkhorstspruit.
A forum was formed in Bronkhorstspruit and its main aim is to stand together in prayer in the fight against crime.
Stakeholders such as the Department of Employment and Labour, Department of Health, Tshwane Municipality and members of the Kingdom Divine Living Ministry, together with the office of social development and members of the polices’ Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) joined hands during a meeting in Bronkhorstspruit.
The purpose was to pray together in the fight against crime-related issues.
Chaplain Col Machebe from the Kingdom Divine Living Ministry opened the meeting on July 22 by giving a brief purpose of the Divine Intervention Forum, where after Chaplain W/O Maile from the police explained the background of the concept.
They prayed about various social ills such as crime, poverty, family disintegration and drug abuse.
“The Divine Intervention Forum team is praying that this initiative brings some positive changes within the community of Bronkhorstspruit and surroundings,” said Const Cathrine Ramovha, corporate communication officer for the Bronkhorstspruit Police.
