Sasol Techno X 2022, South Africa’s leading career expo, showcases 4IR and 5IR opportunities to the youth in ground-breaking virtual experience
Sasol Techno X, South Africa’s largest science, technology, engineering, arts, maths and innovation (STEAMI) career guidance exhibition, is back and this year it is expected to be bigger and better than ever.
Hosted on virtual platforms for the first time ever, the 20th Sasol Techno X will take place from 12 – 16 September 2022. To participate, visitors will need to register on https://sasoltechnox.co.za/. The event is free to the public, as well as learners, educators, and other players in the education sector.
The exhibition aligns with Sasol’s purpose to innovate for a better world and its promise to be a catalyst for positive change, driving shared socio-economic values.
During this unique, week-long interactive experience, visitors can expect to be immersed in virtual tours, talks, workshops, 3D displays and hands-on activities that demonstrate the future of science and the endless possibilities of technology. The intention is to inspire the youth and the broader public to take interest in science and technology in all forms, as well as gain better understanding of the career opportunities brought about by the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions, as well as the advent of the green economy. By utilising the latest interactive virtual technology, Sasol Techno X offers learners and educators a space to interact with and engage on critical STEAMI activities that are part of the school curriculum.
Online visitors to Techno X can look forward to exhibition stands powered by creative interactive tools such as:
