Hennie Viljoen reaches Club 250 at Secunda parkrun

The weekend of November 12, saw a joyful 141 parkrunners take part in Parkrun #327.

SECUNDA – Come rain or shine, Secunda parkrun takes place every Saturday at 08:00 with a run, jog or walk.
Parkruns would not be possible without the volunteers.

Support Secunda parkrun by volunteering whenever you can. You can take along family members, the elderly, the injured or your children to volunteer.

By volunteering, you gain fun, knowledge, social connections, improved physical and mental health, skills, confidence, motivation and a sense of belonging to the parkrun family.

The weekend of November 12, saw a joyful 141 parkrunners take part in parkrun #327. First-timers Zander Blom, Pieter Koekemoer and Helani Breen were welcomed.

The following parkrunners were congratulated on their personal best time: Riaan Prinsloo (27:21), Vuyane Ngwenya (30:45), Toshantha Govindan (32:16), Lelanie du Plessis (35:12), Christopher van Wyk (35:24), Neill Henning (36:18), Yolande Pietersen (39:10), Monique Phillips (42:49), Phindiwe Skosana (44:12), Roelof Vermaak (47:38), Maleshoane Lucy Mosala (51:20) and Tania Koekemoer (56:33).
Milestones were reached by four parkrunners.

Hennie Viljoen joined Club 250. He has also volunteered 115 times and done 71 parkrun locations.
Jason Lumley joined Club 50.

Sophia Gronnelaar is the eldest parkrunner at the age of 80 years. This was her 275th parkrun, which also makes her the person with the most parkruns.

Phillip du Bruyn was the oldest man at the parkrun. He completed his 10th parkrun. The first three women to finish were Lou-Ann Smit, Salomé Jefferies and Meenal Manga.

The first three men to finish were Wege Viljoen, Dirk van den Heever and Colin Louw.
