Standerton CC 1 completely outclassed Sasol 2 Bulldogs on Saturday, November 19 with a winning score of 180 runs.

The home team managed 271 runs, all out, in 43.3 overs in a Gert Sibande District cricket match at the Piet van den Berg-oval.
Sasol 2 had to bite the dust with 91 runs, all out, in 25,5 overs.
Standerton opted to bat first and faced the bowling attack of JP van Zyl who took four wickets, conceding 50 runs, Wimpie who took three wickets, conceding 45 runs and Dylan Niemand who took two wickets, conceding 55 runs.
Henré Naudé scored 47 runs of 30 deliveries, Dayne Young 46 runs of 37 deliveries and Carus Janse van Rensburg 43 runs of 45 deliveries.
Sasol’s batsmen faced Van Rensburg who took five wickets, conceding 33 runs, Werner Mouton who took two wickets, conceding 10 runs and Naudé who took two wickets, conceding 34 runs.
Werner Muller scored 44 runs of 57 deliveries, Wimpie scored 14 runs of eight deliveries and Van Zyl nine runs of 28 deliveries.
The cricket season has now come to an end.
