Residents of eMzinoni’s Welas Section barricaded roads with stones and burning tires, demanding water and electricity this morning, February 21.

These residents said they are tired of living without water while they have a reservoir that is always empty.

Schools in the township of Bethal are currently closed and taxis are unable to transport commuters.

Residents are demanding answers from the Govan Mbeki Municipality but currently, no one came to address them.
