A man in whose rental room in eMbalenhle two bodies were found at the weekend, appeared in the Evander Magistrate’s Court today (February 23) on two charges of murder.

The police first discovered a woman’s corpse in the early stages of decomposition in the suspect’s bed on Friday, February 17.

A detective who revisited the crime scene on Saturday, February 18, found the decomposed body of a man under the bed.

The case was postponed to tomorrow, February 24.

eMbalenhle community members picketed outside the court demanding that the suspect not be released.
