Standerton Police focus on youth to prevent crime

The learners were discouraged from using drugs and bullying others and warned not to get involved in criminal activities.

The Standerton SAPS recently held a safer school campaign at Khunjuliwe Secondary School.

According to their communications officer, Captain Gibi Mtsweni, the campaign aimed to highlight social crime prevention.

The other stakeholders included the Community Policing Forum and the Standerton K9 unit.

Learners were discouraged from using any drugs or partaking in bullying and warned not to get involved in any criminal activities.

The SAPS searched all of the classes but found nothing.
