Caron Tfwala from Standerton aims to be a diplomat
This man was to attend a diplomatic conference, managed under the auspices of the United Nations.
Caron Tfwala from Standerton was all set to travel to Bangkok, Thailand this year, but financial constraints played a role. His heart is now set on going to Malaysia in July.

Caron’s earlier search on Facebook brought him to the point of applying to attend and he had to submit a motivation. He applied on February 9 and was accepted on February 12.
“About 300 people were attending this year,” he said.
Caron wrote matric at Azalea Combined School where his mother is in the driving seat of the secondary school.
This 35-year-old joined Sasol in a learnership programme for more than eight years after school, before contemplating an internship as a millwright.

Corin moved to Standerton from Eswatini in 2006. His mother still lives in Sakhile.
Secunda was his base at the end of last year, working for a construction company until they completed their project.
He is travelling to the neighbouring town daily. This involves getting up at the break of dawn to catch a taxi in town.
He believes that philanthropy and ethical leadership are qualities to strive for. What does the principal of Azalea Combined School have to say about her son wanting to go to Malaysia now?
“She has mixed feelings about my decision. The danger of human trafficking is uppermost in her mind,” he admitted.
He would like to network in the international arena and the home front. He was inspired to be a co-founder of the Lekwa Community Forum.
Corin also volunteered in 2020 at the Sakhile Youth Empowerment Centre where he taught basic computer skills.
“Youth development and community building should not be neglected.”
After receiving a year-long-bursary in 2021 from the Black Management Forum, he became acquainted with junior management in the workplace, involving emotional intelligence, retaining staff and financial matters.
Tfwala has every intention of being a role player in uplifting communities. This father of a Grade R daughter, Asemahle, intends to study further online. Either the law or economics tickles his fancy.
