Junior golfers compete in opens at Walker Park

Walker Park Golf Club was abuzz with golfers competing in the Highveld Open on May 6, and the juniors competing in the Junior Open on May 7.

Saturday’s golfing greens worked in the favour of Devon Lloyd Strydom, who finished first with 137.

Second was Shaun de Bruto finishing with 148 and third place was Janneman Combrink with 149.

The Junior Open held on Sunday had Hannico Naude taking the boy’s overall win by finishing on 73 gross.

Cherise Stapelberg finished on 85 gross, making her the girls winner.
