Lady and the Bapsfontein vet who trumped
Dr Evert Olivier of the Bapsfontein Animal Hospital saved this Great Dane puppy and inspired an extraordinary journey of healing and resilience.
Dr Evert Olivier of the Bapsfontein Animal Hospital treated an extraordinary patient, Lady, who is a Great Dane pup who suffered severe chemical burns all over her body in January 2021.
Lady was in critical condition with severe injuries, dehydration, and infections, leaving her on the brink of death.
Dwayne Voogt rescued Lady and entrusted her care to the Bapsfontein Animal Hospital where Olivier and his team provided Lady the necessary medical attention and support to fight for a second chance at life.
Despite the odds stacked against her, Lady showed incredible resilience and determination to overcome her injuries.
Fast forward to May this year, and Lady is a thriving, happy animal living at her hero’s side. Her remarkable transformation is a testament to the power of hope, love, and second chances.
Olivier and his team are proud to have played a part in Lady’s journey and are grateful for the chance to continue to care for and support animals in need.
