Kids take the plunge at annual gala in Secunda

The swimmers showed off the skills they have developed at Aqua Antics throughout the year.

The annual Aqua Antics swim gala took place at the swim school on November 4. A total of 180 swimmers of varying ages and classes from beginners to experienced, showed off to their parents the skills they have developed throughout the year.

Participants were rewarded with medals and certificates afterwards and they also had a chance to support the young entrepreneurs who pitched their stalls.

The entrance fee for the day was a pair of used, but still wearable shoes.

“We collected 133 pairs of shoes which will go to the Westpack’s Make it a Toe-totally Remarkable December drive,” said Theresa Gray, owner of the swim school.
