Standerton Primary School celebrates top achievers
Standerton Primary School held a prize-giving ceremony to celebrate some of this year's top achievers in various sports codes. The winners took home bucketsful of memories and trophies in the various sports codes they excelled.
Best cross-country junior girls are Nthlarhi Ngobeni, best mini hockey player is iyasanga Sonjica, best mini rugby paler went to Luyanda Mpinga, while the best mini netball player went to Adelicia van Wyk, the best cross-country junior boys is Luyanda Hlatshwayo, Thobeka Khumalo was named the best hockey player, Felix Kyei was named as the best cross country senior boys, Oratile Ramatse is the netball player, Nomusa Mtshali is the best cross-country senior girls and Wandile Mbokazi is the best r
The best U9 batsman and best U9 bowler is Clivinn Coetzee, Lemark Frankis is the best under 9 fielder, Bandile Zimu best U11 bowler, Teagan Symons is the best senior batsman, best senior bowler and best cricketer Libongwe Zimu, Yusuf Joosub is the U11 best fielder, Luyema Twala is the best U11 fielder while Wandile Mbokazi is the best senior fielder.
For enthusiastic participation in sports Grade Seven is Tlotliso Maboea, for enthusiastic performance in sport for girls is Samkelisiwe Magubane and the sports person of the year is Wandile Mbokazi.
