Cullinan’s Alexander Grobler graded in his second black belt
He graded for his first degree black belt in Taekwon-do at the age of 16, which is the youngest black belt achieved in SATI’s history and has since then competed and won in several competitions.
Alexander Grobler (18) graded to second degree black belt earlier this month in the martial arts of Taekwon-Do.
He graded for his first degree black belt at the age of 16, which is the youngest black belt achieved in SATI’s history and has since then competed and won in several competitions. Alexander is finishing matric and hopes to continue with tertiary studies.
“I am grateful for the support and training I have received from coach SBM Manie Naude. He has shaped and built my skills in Taekwon-Do.
“One goal in my journey in Taekwon-Do is to participate in the world championship. The training for this goal is well underway. The road to it won’t be easy,” said Alexander.
Alexander looks forward to these challenges. He said nothing of value comes easy; it comes with hard work and dedication.
“I hope to one day build something to set what I have learned, apart from what others have taught me. All will come in time,” said Alexander.
