Ivan Mare wins Walker Park Golf Club Men’s Open in Evander
Golfers competed in the Walker Park Golf Club Men’s Open in Evander on December 2.
Ivan Mare was crowned the Walker Park Men’s Open winner for 2023, when ardent golfers took to the golf club greens on December 2.
With a plus-five handicap, Ivan ended on 138 gross for the day. In second place was George Wolhuter with a 143 gross. Third place went to Vian Kruger on 145 gross.
The morning gross was taken by Rory Garton, with a 72 gross, with the afternoon gross by Shaun De Bruto on 73 gross.
The all-day nett winner was Ace Mlambo on 139 followed by runner-up Hansie Annandale on 142 nett.
The morning nett winner was Amos Khumalo on 71, with Jabu Masilela winning the afternoon nett on 66.
In the B Division, Leon Muller was crowned the all-day winner with 77 gross, with runner-up Stephan Pienaar with 79 gross.
The all-day nett went to Kobus Louw on 65 with second place to Anthony Naude on 67 nett. In the C Division, Danie Heese finished with 39 points.
In the second was Luaan Meyer with 36 points and third was Tiaan Meyer with 34 points.
