Revival of tennis in Standerton

Standerton Tennis Club tries to attract more members and January 6 saw the technocrats playing on the one court.

According to coach Mathew Khumalo, they are trying to revive tennis in town.

Wian Strydom practised with brother Aldo on the other court under the watchful eye of Khumalo.

Strydom took part in interprovincial matches in Pretoria on Tuesday.

“We are gearing up for the new year,” Khumalo said.
