The big wide world beckons for matriculants from Standerton

In the Lekwa East Circuit, Hoërskool George Hofmeyr once again celebrated a pass rate of 100%, an achievement accomplished for several years.

Matriculants waited with bated breath in front of the entrance of Hoërskool Standerton on January 19 just before 09:00 for their results.

SHS had a pass rate of 92.6%, an improvement of last year’s 88.8%.

The other schools’ pass rate in the Lekwa West Circuit are Azalea Combined School with 68.8% compared to last year’s 77.4%, Jandrell Secondary School with 66.9% compared to last year’s 68.1%, Khula-Sakhile Secondary School with 61.3% compared to last year’s 77.4%, Khunjuliwe Secondary School with 70.3% compared to last year’s 80.5%, Stanwest Combined School improving from last year’s 81.8% to 89.6%, Thobelani Secondary School improving from last year’s 83.8% to 85% and Thuto-Thebe Secondary School with 80.4% compared to last year’s 88.2%.

In the Lekwa East Circuit, Hoërskool George Hofmeyr once again enjoyed a pass rate of 100%, an achievement accomplished for several years.

Zikhetheleni Secondary School celebrated a pass rate of 93.6% compared to last year’s 97.3%, while Holmdene Secondary School had a pass rate of 90.4% compared to last year’s 93% and Qondulwazi Secondary School had a pass rate of 73% compared to last year’s 100%.

The names of the top achievers at the schools were not available at the time of going to press.
