Two neglected horses from Bronkhorstspruit are now strong and vibrant

Tayaar and Diamond have also found their forever family.

Tayaar and Diamond overcame neglect and flourished in Wet Nose’s care. These magnificent horses were in a dire state when they arrived at Wet Nose in Bronkhorstspruit.

They weighed only 128kg and 192kg respectively, which, according to Declan Rodocanachi from Wet Nose, is far from the healthy norm for horses of their stature.

He said their journey from fragile, neglected animals to strong, vibrant animals was nothing short of miraculous.

“They have surpassed expectations and found a forever home where they are cherished and loved.

“With meticulous care, patience and dedication, the team from Wet Nose watched in awe as Tayaar’s weight soared to 536kg and Diamond’s to 480kg.”

Rodocanachi said this transformation is a testament to the resilience of these beautiful creatures and the power of compassionate care.

“Our hearts are full as we announce that Tayaar and Diamond have found their forever home with a wonderful family.”

This outcome marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with love, safety, and the dignity these horses deserve.

“Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many more like Tayaar and Diamond,” said Rodocanachi.
