Rebuilding SA is crucial, says FF+ leader during Secunda visit

Dr Pieter Groenewald, the Freedom Front Plus national leader, visited Secunda on April 20.

Dr Pieter Groenewald, the Freedom Front Plus national leader, visited Secunda on April 20 for a public meeting ahead of the 2024 elections.

Groenewald compared SA to a house in which the ANC governs, with its “corrupt and unethical practices” causing damage.

“The windows are shattered, the pipes leak, and the lights do not work. That we must rebuild SA is crucial. The damage inflicted by the ANC government must be repaired, and citizens must unite to achieve this,” said Groenewald.

He highlighted the importance of citizens voting in the upcoming elections to bring change and said every vote counts.

“Consider a scenario where 10 people vote in an election. Five vote for the ANC, and five for the opposition parties. This will give the ANC 50%.

“If one opposition party member doesn’t vote, the ANC gets 55 %, securing an absolute majority. Conversely, if one ANC member doesn’t vote, they only get 44% of the votes,” said Groenewald.

The Freedom Front Plus advocates for devolving power to communities, reducing municipalities to single towns and prioritising citizens’ needs.
