Secunda Christian Academy athletes excel in soccer and netball

The U9 netball girls won, earning gold medals, while the U13s got silver for second place.

Secunda Christian Academy learners competed in the Southern African Christian Schools’ Sports Association (Sacssa) regional soccer and netball tournaments in Ermelo at the Ermelo Christian Academy (ECS) on April 18 and 20.

The U9 netball girls won, earning gold medals, while the U13s got silver for second place.

The U9 and U13 teams have qualified for the Sacssa national netball tournament that will again take place in Ermelo at ECS in May.

The U7 girls’ first-place win saw them earn gold medals. The U11 girls took bronze in their event. In the boys’ soccer tournaments, the U7s won bronze medals and the U9s silver.
