Protesting students a common sight in Standerton

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) grants are one of the students’ primary contentious issues.

Standerton residents are becoming accustomed to Gert Sibande TVET College students protesting on the streets.

It was no exception on Beyers Naudé Street in front of the college offices on April 26.

They usually begin the march from the Kruger Street main campus and proceed towards town.

Other stakeholders joined protestors this past week.
