Church leaders in Bronkhorstspruit area pray for fair elections

About 600 people, the SAPS and metro police, the Council of Churches and the municipal health services attended the event.

The Pastor’s Forum and the City of Tshwane (Region 7) organised a prayer meeting in Ekangala at the International Assembly of God on May 16 to pray for a fair election day.

Reverend Jabu Mabona, (regional head of Region 7 co-ordinated the programme that pastors from various churches attended.

About 600 people, the SAPS and metro police, the Council of Churches and the municipal health services attended the event, where the Metro Choir also performed.

The prayer topics included unity, crime, the elections, and corruption.
