Leandra court postpones murder case

Nkosi stands accused of killing Betty Malinga (44) in Lebohang last year.

The Leandra Periodic Court has postponed the murder case against Lucky Nkosi to August 21.

Nkosi stands accused of killing Betty Malinga (44) in Lebohang last year.

Malinga’s naked body was found in a furrow at Ext 9 in January after she was reported missing on Christmas day last year. She had numerous stab wounds.

A few days after Malinga’s disappearance, the family received a phone call about women’s clothes hanging on a fence at the house where a known nyaope addict was living.

After the police investigation, they arrested Nkosi and charged him with murder and rape.

Malinga’s family went as far as Delmas looking for her.
