Karateka compete in the Karate South Africa League Two
Out of 18 students who competed at the Karate SA League Two in Pretoria, 15 received medals.
Eighteen karateka from the Universal Shotokan Karate Union represented Mpumalanga at the National Premiere League Two, at the Portuguese Hall in Pretoria on September 14.
Fifteen students received medals and stand a chance to be selected for the final team list, which will be announced in October, to compete at the Commonwealth Games.
Congratulations to the following students on receiving medals in their categories:
- Sandakahle Dlamini came second in kumite and third in kata.
- Akani Mbambo was placed third in kumite.
- Lutendo Netshivhazwaulu came first in kumite.
- Sbongokuhle Mahlangu was placed third in kumite.
- Nani Hlongwa came second in kumite.
- Owethu Sindane was placed second in kumite and third in kata.
- Londiwe Sindane won first place in kumite.
- Thabane Sindane finished third in kumite.
- Mbalentleyamatenza Gxarisa came third in kumite
- Hlumelo Gxarisa was placed second in kumite.
- Luminathi Khakhusi came first in kumite.
- Yamkela Khakhusi finished first in kumite.
- Jaden Malaza was placed third in kumite.
- Jordan Malaza finished third in kumite.
- Mitchell Malaza came first in kumite.
