Three armed men robbed the MTN store in the Secunda Mall on October 6. They entered the store just before closing time at 15:00 on Sunday.

The robbers took computers and cell phones from the store, then left on foot and got into a vehicle that was parked outside the mall premises.

The Secunda Mall management team confirmed the robbery.

The forensic team of the police is currently investigating the robbery and working together with the mall management team.

According to the mall management team, nobody was hurt in the heist. They reassured their shoppers and tenants that their safety is the highest priority.

“Secunda Mall remains committed to creating a secure shopping environment for everybody,” said Marita Kroon from the mall management team.
