Netballers shoot for hoops in league in Secunda
Secunda Action Sports hosted the Seniors Super League netball at the arena on October 5.
Secunda’s Action Sports Seniors Super League netball players faced opponents from Gauteng in the league games played on October 5.
Despite having the home-ground advantage and the only Mpumalanga team playing hosts in this event, teams from Atterbury, Centurion, Hillfox, Key West, Edenvale, Fourways, Meyersdal, Benoni, Zambezi and Vaal proved to be better.
Secunda’s women’s B team lost 23-36 to Edenvale B.
The umpires were Annelise Botha and Nhlanhla Moloi. Secunda teams Saints Mixed B and the Secunda Mixed B faced each other.

The Saints Mixed B beat Secunda Mixed B 54-20. Chane Coyle and Judith Nel were the umpires for this game.
The Falcons Men beat the Secunda Men 40-39. The umpires were Gerhard Harmse and Morgan Pullon.
The Secunda Men lost 38-50 to the Zambezi Men. Gerhard Harmse and Fanny Fick were the umpires.
The Zambezi Mixed B beat the Secunda Mixed B 54-25. The umpires were Gibon Mogole and Chane Coyle.
The Saints Mixed B lost 33-34 to the Benoni Mixed B. Buddy Ntsoelangoe and Neil Fourie were the umpires.
