Make Christmas wishes come true with the NLF in Standerton
The Northern Light Foundation is preparing to help less fortunate families this Christmas, but they need your help.
NPOs are the lifeblood of our community, keeping our residents together by helping those who need it most.
This festive season, the Northern Light Foundation plans to assist needy families in our community.
“We want to call on the community to help struggling families,” pleaded Hillel Coetzer of the Northern Light Foundation.
To make this Christmas more festive for the less fortunate, the NLF will appreciate donations of blankets, clothes, shoes, school stationery and sanitary products. Tragically, many families cannot enjoy the Christmas feast we look forward to each year.

“For these less fortunate families, any meal on Christmas is a gift,” added Coetzer.
To help them the NLF also collects non-perishable food – canned food, maize meal, rice, pasta, spices, tea, coffee, oil, butter, peanut butter, jam, powdered milk and concentrated or powdered drinks.
Drop off your donations at 95 Coligny Street, Standerton.
Alternatively, financial donations can be paid through Northern Light Foundation, FNB, cheque account, account number 62901405763.
