Swimmers enjoy fun gala in Secunda

Children ‘travel’ to four countries during event.

Christelle and Eben Hattingh received certificates for participation at Zali Swim School's gala fun day held on November 23.

Young swimmers of Zali Swim School celebrated this school’s new venue with a fun gala on November 23.

Charné Needham, owner of the swim school, said their venue moved from a house in Lehman Street to Highveld Ridge Primary School, where they will build a roof over the swimming pool.

This fun gala was presented as an Around the World Olympics day and each swimmer received a ‘passport’ which they had to complete and visit four different ‘countries’ on the day.

Needham said it was also part of their year-end celebrations and each swimmer received a certificate for their hard work during the year.
