Hockey juniors vie for top spots in league finals in Secunda
The junior hockey teams ended the spring league by playing the finals at the Secunda Action Sports Arena on December 5 and 6.
Junior league teams competed for top spots in the Action Sports Spring League hockey finals on December 5 and 6.
The Rapid Rascals claimed the number one spot in the mixed 10 to 13 years category. In second were The Dribblers, and the Stick Swingers came third.
The Baby Spartans won the boys’ six to nine years category, followed by the second-placed Lightning Stars and the third-placed Geckos.
The Badgers came out tops in the girls’ six to nine years category. The Smarty Sticks took second, and Sisu Hockey came third.
The Spartans won the boys’ 10 to 13 years category. Second place went to the Whitty Wolves, and The Blue Flame took third.
Two teams battled it out for the top spot in the girls’ 10 to 13 years category, with the Oopsie Daisies beating the Fantasies.
