Round Table Secunda 231: A beacon of brotherhood and community service
Men between the ages of 18 and 40 who are interested in public welfare can join the brotherhood of the Round Table Secunda 231.

Are you a young man between 18 and 40 interested in public welfare?
Then the Round Table Secunda 231 is the group for you.
The Round Table is a non-political, non-racial association of young men embracing representatives of nearly every profession and occupation.
The energy and enthusiasm of Round Table Secunda 231 are infectious, and their commitment to serving the community is unwavering.
Round Table’s objectives are to encourage high ethical standards, promote social interaction and fellowship among young professionals and businessmen, and cultivate an individual interest in everything affecting the public welfare.
Round Table Secunda 231 is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on its community. With a rich history of giving back, this dynamic group focuses on fostering bonds of brotherhood among its members, creating a supportive and engaging environment.

Their culture is built on the principle of dedicating time to those in need while welcoming new members into their fold for socialising and fellowship.
Their commitment to community service is at the heart of everything they do, as they participate in projects and events that strengthen their connections with the community, friends, and family.
Reflecting on 2024, Round Table Secunda 231 undertook several projects. One is the ongoing vegetable garden and boarding school project at Laerskool Trichardt, where the school cultivates vegetables for the hostel.
This initiative not only provides fresh produce for boarding learners but also teaches valuable lessons about sustainability and agriculture.
In addition to this project, Round Table Secunda 231 collaborated with the 41ers to organise a Warm Fees event in July.
During this heartwarming initiative, the group collected over 2 200 blankets in two days for those in need in Secunda.
They distributed the blankets to shelters, old age homes, and the SPCA, demonstrating the power of community when individuals gather for a common cause.

Another event was the paint, and cocktail evening, aimed at raising awareness about autism. This creative gathering not only allowed attendees to showcase their artistic talents but also fostered important conversations about autism and inclusivity within the community.
Round Table Secunda 231 assisted in Laerskool Trichardt’s fishing competition at Grootdraai Dam at the end of November.
The club also hosted a golf day. The proceeds aided Khulula Animal Welfare Society to refurbish the old Highveld Ridge SPCA.
Looking ahead, there are exciting events and projects lined up for Round Table Secunda 231.
One initiative is the R5 project in front of Checkers in the mall. This initiative encourages the public to support by donating items to be distributed to various charities, shelters, and old age homes.
The spirit of giving is alive and well within the community, and Round Table Secunda 231 is thrilled to lead the charge to make a difference.
