The Shed hosted an event on January 18 to promote friendly competition between gym members. Altogether 64 participants competed, completing a variety of Crossfit workouts from the beginner level up to exercises requiring more experience.
“Events like this promote camaraderie between our members. It goes to show that anyone can do it, regardless of age or experience level,” said Gary van Aswegen, former Rugby Union player and owner of The Shed.
The winners of the day were team black, with team captains Nadia Pattullo and Thinus Bosse.
The Shed also recently released a fitness app called The Shed Fitness. It is a fitness app that anyone can use at home, with minimal or even no equipment.
