Almost 70 parkrun in Standerton
Bongane Mpokane was the first finisher with his time of 18:10.
The Standerton Riverpark parkrun held its 288th event on March 8, where three runners beat their personal best times and eight joined for the first time.
Bongane Mpokane was the first finisher with his time of 18:10.
Leon Marais was the second finisher. He completed his first Standerton parkrun in 22.42, followed by Andiswamahlubi Hadebe (24:46), Eugene Viljoen (25:12) and Ayanda Dlamini (27:46).
First-timer Lehlohonolo Sebiloane completed the track in 33:47 and Daniel Kriek obtained a new PB of 38:42.
The volunteers who made this event possible were Daniel Wright, Johannes Vosloo, Krishnalal Ramdharee, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Marjorie Uys, Nadine Hoop, Noluthando Zweni, Priscilla Ramdharee, Renette de Sousa, Séan Jansen van Rensburg and Sylvy Moodley.
