Sasol Celtic Football Club to host a seven-a-side tournament in Secunda
SCFC is hosting a seven-a-side tournament on March 29 and is inviting players and spectators to support the event.
Sasol Celtic Football Club (SCFC) invites soccer enthusiasts, players, and spectators to support them in a one-day, seven-a-side tournament on March 29 at the Sasol Recreational Club.
This action-packed tournament is part of the 2024/25 Sasol Secunda Football League (SSFL) season, which kicked off in October 2024 and will run until mid-May.
Founded in 2005 by Andrew Lumley and a small group of passionate footballers, the SSFL has steadily grown and now boasts 12 competitive teams.
SCFC has a first team, U13, U15, U17 teams and its Sasol Masters team for players 35 years and older. The U13s, U15s and U17s compete for the Govan Mbeki Municipality Local Football Association League run by SAFA.
Practice sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday from 19:00 for seniors and Saturday from 14:00 for the juniors. SCFC welcomes any businesses wanting to sponsor soccer kits and gear.
