Dra Mekaar members met for a morning of socialising at the monthly meeting held at the NG Kerk Goedehoop Gemeente on March 5.

Ben Moolman opened the morning with scripture reading and prayer. Birthday wishes for March went to members Salomie Eksteen and Gerda Miller.

There was also a reminder about the tin food project that will end at the beginning of July. The aim is to collect 400 tins of non-perishable foods. So far, they have 115 tins.

Members must remember August is the cut-off month for those interested in the annual holiday to De Voetpadkloof in October.
