Budget and IDP review takes place in Lekwa

During these meetings, residents can meet with their ward councillors to voice concerns and questions in the community's interest.

The Lekwa Local Municipality (LLM) currently tours the community in an IDP/Budget outreach programme.

During these meetings, residents can meet with their ward councillors to voice concerns and questions in the community’s interest.

The consultation programme started on April 1 in Ward 1 and continued the following days in Ward 2 and 3.

Meetings for Ward 4 are on April 7 and 8, while Ward 8 will meet on April 15.

Ward 10 will gather on two separate dates, April 16 in the Ext 6 community hall and April 24 in the Standerton Town Hall.

The LLM urges residents to attend these meetings to keep an open line of communication between the community and the municipality.
