Jaco Swarts announced as chairperson for Round Table Secunda 231

Members bid farewell to outgoing chairperson Alec Senekal, who handed over the chairperson’s gong to Jaco Swarts.

Round Table Secunda 231 hosted the induction dinner of their new chairperson on March 21 at the Genade Shoppie Venue.

The purpose of this annual event was to introduce the new committee and award Round Table Secunda 231 members.

Members bid farewell to outgoing chairperson Alec Senekal, who handed over the chairperson’s gong to Jaco Swarts.

Calvin Parker received the Round Table Secunda 231 Tabler of the Year award. He also received the stirrer spoon for the year.

The project of the year award went to Altus Delport. His wife, Mauritzka received the leg of the year. Best attendance for the year was given to Swarts.

The biggest spender of the year was Alec Senekal.



The Round Table Secunda 231 committee includes Swarts as chairperson, Parker as vice-chairperson, Laurens Maritz as secretary, Carl van Staden as social and raids, Alec Senekal as treasure/clubhouse man/ARTSA-Stores and Wikus Claassens as Joe Tabler.

Carl van Staden received the fellowship of the year trophy. Round Table Secunda 231 is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on its community.

With a rich history of giving back, this dynamic group focuses on fostering bonds of brotherhood among its members, creating a supportive and engaging environment.

Men between the ages of 18 and 40 who are interested in public welfare can join the brotherhood of the Round Table Secunda 231.
