Fitness enthusiasts take part in Standerton parkrun
Three participants achieved new personal best times, including Lungile Zimu (34:00).
The Standerton Riverpark parkrun celebrated their 293rd event on April 12, where 52 participants took on the 5km track.
Three participants achieved new personal best times, including Lungile Zimu (34:00). Bongane Mpokane was the first finisher, with a time of 19:45.
Eugene Viljoen completed the run in 25:08. Ayanda Dlamini celebrated his 50th milestone run with a time of 27:49.
Collin Thobedi was the fourth finisher. He completed the run in 29:56.
Andrew Ainsworth had a time of 30:14, followed by Jose Joseph (34:05) and Sibusiso Wilson Dlangalala (34:26).
Dennis Kumm completed the dash in 35:30.
Elmien Vermaak and Brendan Archer crossed the finish line in quick succession, with times of 36:07 and 36:09 respectively.
