SHS equestrians compete in SAWMGA and SANESA

The next qualifying rounds will take place on May 10 at Peraldi in Secunda.

Three learners from Standerton High School recently took part in qualifier rounds in the South African Western Mounted Games Association (SAWMGA) and South African National Equestrian Schools Association (SANESA).

Virné Vorster and her horse, Blits received 12th place for the first SAWMGA qualifier and a third place for the second round, competing at an overall third level.

In the SANESA qualifier, she earned third place in the first qualifying round and first place in the second round.
She competed at overall high school level 5.

The Dynamic duo Sulanté Kitshoff and her horse, Spartan ended in sixth place in the first qualifying round of SAWMGA and 13th in the second round.

Kyla Bezuidenhout and Mississippi progressed from Newbie to overall level 2. She obtained seventh place in the first SAWMGA qualifier round and sixth place in the second qualifier.

She competed at overall high school level 4 in the SANESA qualifier and received a third and second place, respectively.

The next qualifying rounds will take place on May 10 at Peraldi in Secunda.
