A diesel spill on the R50 that runs over the N12, is causing havoc this morning (June 9).

According to reliable sources, a diesel trailer stationary is next to the road and diesel has leaked onto the road surface.

The slippery mess led to passing vehicles veering off the road, one of which has ended up on its roof in a marsh land.

Authorities have been asked to help with the clean up. Motorists are warned to be cautious when passing this spot.
