The Standerton Sables 1 took on Sasol 3 in a nail-biting rugby match at Standerton High School on June 7.
The Sables won the match 45–12.
The Sables ran onto the field with determination and heart, giving this game their all from the first play. Sasol 3 showed resilience, but struggled to keep up with the Sables’ speed.
Within the first 18 minutes, the Sables were leading 12-0.
The Sables maintained their momentum, blocking, defending, and scoring consistently. By halftime, the score was 26–7.
The Sables’ next game will take place against Emalahleni in Witbank on June 14 while Sasol 3 will be playing a home game in Secunda.
