The Standerton Riverpark parkrun celebrated their 301st event on June 7. Bongane Mpokane was the first finisher, completing the run in 18:49.

Pieter Jansen van Vuuren completed the run in 22:59, followed by Reneilwe Tsotetsi (24:06), Zakkai Wessels (24:42) and Parth Jayram (24:58).

Eugene Viljoen finished in 26:00. Pieter Grobbelaar finished the run in 26:52 and Arnoldus Kennedy finished in 30:15.

The volunteers who made this week’s event possible were Charl van Wyk, Daniel Wright, Frans Vermaak, Jennifer Naidoo, Leandri van Wyk, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Lydia Roets, Marion Jean Robbertson, Marjorie Uys, Moluthando Zweni, Renette de Sousa, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Strini Nadoo and Zeldine Strydom.
