Learners enjoy soccer tournament in Charl Cilliers

The registered NPO Secunda Spurs Academy FC hosted a soccer tournament at the Charl Cilliers sports grounds on May 31.

Roodebank Primary School’s U15 soccer team won in their age category, while Van Stadens Primary School’s U11 team took the top spot in theirs.

The tournament aimed to give farm schools exposure and the opportunity to participate in a soccer competition.

The organisers thanked their sponsors for making the day possible.

A representative from Nomi Home Based Care spoke to the learners, parents, and teachers about HIV awareness.
