Standertonners finish comrades
Eleven participants from Standerton arrived to take on the 88km track between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, but only nine runners finished.
Several runners from the Standerton Marathon Club participated in the Comrades on June 9. Eleven participants from Standerton arrived to take on the 88km track between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, but only nine runners finished.
Lekgotla Dlamini finished in 11:07:46 in the 50-59 age category. Gustav Waldemar Heinz completed the marathon in 11:13:34 in the senior category.
Trust Kunene finished the run in 08:09:44 in the senior category. Lennox Mfenqa finished in 11:32:31 in the 40-49 category.
May Mnisi clocked 10:31:37 in the 50-59 category.
Sfiso Ndinisa completed the track in 08:51:48 in the 40-49 category. Wonderboy Nxumalo ran in the 50-59 category and took 11:31:13 to finish.
Richard Sangweni finished in 09:36:35, running in the 40-49 category. Kenny Swart completed the run in 10:38:11 and competed in the 60-69 category.
