Church hands out blankets and beanies in Secunda CBD

Empower Church held an outreach event on June 28 in the Secunda CBD, where they handed out blankets and beanies to the less fortunate.

This is an annual project, and the church hopes to expand it in future.

“The aim of this project is to give people a blanket and Jesus,” said Dezzie Fourie, one of the organisers.

Volunteers also prayed for people during the outreach.

The pastoral couple of Empower Church, Stefan and Lizelle Oberholzer, invited the public to attend their Sunday services, held in the conference room above Boesies Restaurant at Lake Umuzi.
