Pub in Secunda raises money for Logan (11)
The Bermuda Pub and Grill hosted a heartfelt fundraiser for 11-year-old Logan Dyssel, who is facing new medical challenges after three open-heart surgeries.
The Bermuda Pub and Grill hosted a fundraiser for Logan Dyssel (11) on July 26. Logan was born on October 21, 2013, with a congenital heart defect, and has had three open-heart surgeries.
He has recently suffered setbacks, with new symptoms emerging. Funds raised will go towards paying his medical bills.
The owner of the Bermuda Pub and Grill, Wessie van der Westhuizen, thanked all the sponsors, organisers and the public who supported the fundraiser.
They raised R15 000 through a pool competition, raffle draws, pop-a-balloon and a spit braai.
